Meet the Man Behind the Work
Born at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Paul is a Florida native who has spent his entire life understanding what the Florida climate demands of a home — the salt air that corrodes, the humidity that warps, and the storms that test everything you've built.
After Hurricane Charley tore through Southwest Florida in 2004, Paul relocated to the Fort Myers area and built a successful roofing company from the ground up — spending years repairing and rebuilding homes across the region. Now, as he eases toward a well-earned retirement, he's chosen the slower pace of Pine Island life — helping homeowners with the maintenance and repairs that keep their properties in top shape, and keeping a watchful eye on homes while owners are away.
Paul is an active member of the Pine Island community and takes pride in giving back to the island that's become home. When you call us, you're not getting a franchise or a call center — you're getting a neighbor who genuinely cares about this place.
What the Neighbors Say
"They fixed our dock, repainted the shutters, and had the whole place looking sharp before we even unpacked. They've been our go-to for fifteen years."
Jim & Carol Whitfield
Year-round residents, Matlacha
"We live in Ohio from May to November. Knowing Paul is checking on our place every week — sending photos, handling anything that comes up — lets us actually enjoy our summer up north."
Bob & Diane Kowalski
Seasonal residents, Pine Island Center
"After Hurricane Ian, Pine Island Handyman was the first call I made. They had a full damage report with photos in my inbox within 24 hours. That kind of service is priceless."
Margaret Flores
